My name is Tas Shah, I was born in Africa in the district of Mombasa, Kenya. I come from a ‘Masala mix’ of a culture. My family were originally Indian immigrants that mixed overtime. I had a rather grounded and modest upbringing, with three siblings, in which I am the only daughter and granddaughter from both sides of my family.
I had always admired and wanted to be a part of the Fashion, Modeling and Acting Industry since the age of 6, unfortunately, things didn’t go as planned. I had several hardships that threw me off my course. I studied in an international school in Nairobi, Kenya and then found myself in the UK pursuing a law degree in Coventry. I then got married and moved to the States, life didn’t go easy on me, especially when moving to a foreign country. I was thrown countless curve balls which tore me down but I am so proud to say I’ve built myself up each time.
At last, I settled down In Dallas, Texas, and now I’m finally breathing fresh and fruitful air. I consider myself an open-minded person with a strong desire to follow my passions. Thanks to my colorful background, I have the ability to adapt in multiple settings. For example, I’m fluent in Swahili, Arabic, Hindi and feel like I could really excel in international films If need be. I’m beyond the moon excited and am looking forward to working hard.
My goal is to bring out the best within myself and whatever character my work demands. With that said, I hope this fascinating journey will lead me to get a better understanding of who I really am and where I stand! I am currently a Technical Recruiter & Business Development Manager for a Texas based IT consulting Company, helping large corporations find outstanding talent across the board. I’m also a big art and music enthusiast. I highly promote children’s well-being by supporting hospitals, local food banks, and other charities in East Africa as much as possible.

Aspiring actor looking for a debut in television and movie roles. Trained under well-known film, television actors and personalities from Los Angeles, California & New York, NY. My passion since the age of 6, for acting has finally given me a break to peruse what I truly love in acting.

Bringing all those different elements of a character is what fascinates me the most about what I do, gives me more thrust of exploring & learning more from different “real life time story” of people and bringing my emotion to life.
